Fun, but a bit annoying sometimes when the pieces foolishly kill themselves

Works fine. Funny idea. But the numbers don't add up. How does a 10/20 pawn instantly kill a bishop with more than 5x stats? The moves are also weird, often acting against what we'd want. It would be good to have an option to let us choose to be aggressive or defensive. Since it's meant to be chess anyway, why cut out tactics entirely? All you have left is strategy based on random chance since the auto movement can be counterintuitive. For example, a Bishop moving up one but not attacking.

Your pieces seem to take damage from themselves when they attack in addition to the enemy, so you need to hope your bishop doesn't kill itself because a pawn got in its way. Only the first piece upgrade would really matter, but the above renders the bonus all but moot. There's not much incentive to have all 4 cards active either, it just clutters up your board. Cute idea, flawed execution.
