I'm blown away! I did a couple quick tests, putting very little effort into setting myself up. Would not have dreamed it would be so precise. I scanned my front of house property to get the terrain for designing around in CAD. The terrain was near flawless, and the portion of the house that got included in the scan matched right up to my cad model which had been meticulously measured. The texture application is also hard to believe it's so accurate.

Makes you log in through epic games the cant get past the sign in why make it so difficult to just use the app

I had high hopes, but it couldn't properly scan and just take photos. Not sure why Epic acquired this. I know it's not my phone because I tried the free version of Kiri and Poly cam and got decent results with my first try. I basically took 200 pictures of a 10" detailed figure that wasn't shiny or smooth. I tried walking around object as well as a really slow speed turntable with 3 point lighting. I have a decent phone too with the Galaxy S24+.
