RecipeCals: Recipe Splitter

RecipeCals is a recipe calorie calculator for the food you cook yourself. You enter each ingredient with its weight in grams and the per 100 g values printed on the package, tell the app how many servings the recipe makes, and you get the calories, protein, carbs and fat for one serving.

Nothing is looked up. The numbers behind the answer are the ones you type: the weight of each ingredient and the calories and macros per 100 g from its label. Each contributes its grams multiplied by its per 100 g value and divided by 100, the totals are added up, then divided by your servings and rounded to one decimal. It is a recipe calorie calculator you can check by hand.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Read calories, protein, carbs and fat for one serving at the top of the screen, updated with every ingredient you add or remove.
- See each ingredient's own calorie contribution next to its weight in the list.
- Remove an ingredient with a single tap when the recipe changes.
- Type decimals with either a comma or a period, whichever your keyboard gives you.
- Work entirely offline, with no account and no sign-in.
- Switch between light and dark automatically, following your system setting.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set the number of servings your recipe makes.
2. Add your first ingredient: the name, the weight in grams, then kcal, protein, carbs and fat per 100 g from the label.
3. Repeat for every ingredient in the pot.
4. Read the per-serving calories and macros at the top.

Home cooks who want to know what one plate actually costs in calories. People counting macros who cook from scratch instead of eating packaged meals. Batch cooking and meal prep, where one tray or one pot has to be split into equal portions. Bakers who want the per-slice number. PRIVACY AND OFFLINE USE
RecipeCals makes no network requests at all. Nothing you type is uploaded, and no account, email or personal detail is ever asked for. The ingredients you enter stay in memory on your device while the app is open. Because the calculation happens on the phone, this recipe calorie calculator keeps working on a plane, in a basement kitchen, or anywhere with no signal.

QUESTIONS
Do I need an internet connection? No. There is no network call anywhere in the app.
Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-in and no profile.
Where do the nutrition numbers come from? From you. You copy the per 100 g values from the package in front of you, which is why the answer matches your ingredients.
Which values does it handle? Calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat.
Does it save my recipes? No. Ingredients stay in memory while the app is open, which is also why nothing about your cooking is stored anywhere.
Can I enter ounces or cups? Weights are entered in grams, and nutrition values per 100 g, matching how packaging is labelled.
