RecoMage - File Recovery

📸 RecoMage - Recover Your Deleted Files with Complete Privacy

RecoMage is a professional file recovery application designed to help you restore deleted photos, videos, audio files, and documents from your device's recycle bin. Our app's core functionality requires access to recycle bin folders to scan for and recover deleted files that are no longer accessible through standard Android APIs.

🔒 Complete Privacy & Security
Your privacy is our absolute priority. RecoMage operates entirely on your device - your files are NEVER uploaded, transferred, or shared with any external servers or third parties. All recovery operations happen locally on your device, ensuring your personal data remains completely private and secure.

✨ Core Functionality - File Recovery from Recycle Bin:

Our app's PRIMARY PURPOSE is to recover deleted files from your device's recycle bin. This core functionality requires access to recycle bin directories because:

• Recycle bin folders are located in system-protected directories (e.g., /Android/.Trash/)
• Standard MediaStore API cannot access files in recycle bin folders
• Files in recycle bin are not indexed in MediaStore database
• Different device manufacturers use different recycle bin folder structures
• We need to scan these protected directories to locate deleted files

Without access to recycle bin folders, our app cannot function - it would be completely broken and unusable, as we cannot locate or recover any deleted files.

📷 What RecoMage Does:
• Scans recycle bin folders to find deleted photos, videos, audio files, and documents
• Displays recoverable files organized by type
• Restores files back to their original locations with one tap
• Permanently deletes files from recycle bin when you choose
• Works entirely offline - no internet connection required

🛡️ What We DON'T Do:
• Upload your files anywhere
• Share your data with third parties
• Access files outside of recycle bin folders
• Track or monitor your file usage
• Store your personal information

Why All Files Access Permission is Required:

The "All files access" permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) is essential for our app's core functionality because:

1. Recycle bin folders are system-protected directories that require special access
2. MediaStore API does not provide access to files in recycle bin folders
3. We need to recursively scan recycle bin directories to find deleted files
4. Different manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.) use different recycle bin folder structures
5. Without this permission, we cannot access recycle bin folders and the app cannot function

This permission is used EXCLUSIVELY for:
• Scanning recycle bin directories (/Android/.Trash/, /DCIM/.Trash/, etc.)
• Locating deleted files within recycle bin folders
• Reading file metadata to display recoverable files
• Restoring files to their original locations
• Permanently deleting files from recycle bin

We do NOT use this permission for any other purpose. Your files remain on your device, under your complete control.

Perfect For:
• Accidentally deleted photos and videos
• Lost screenshots and camera captures
• Deleted audio recordings and music files
• Removed documents and files
• Anyone who wants peace of mind knowing deleted files can be recovered

Take control of your deleted files and never lose important memories or documents again. RecoMage gives you the power to recover what matters most, all while keeping your data completely private and secure on your device.

Download RecoMage today and experience the confidence of knowing your deleted files are never truly lost - unless you want them to be.
