Recorder Flute: Learn & Play

🎵 Play your real recorder and the app listens.

Forget sheet music you can't read and videos that won't wait for you. In Recorder Flute: Learn & Play the notes fall down the screen like a rhythm game and, when they reach the line, you blow. The microphone recognizes the note instantly, tells you whether you came in on time and shows you exactly which holes to cover on a beautifully drawn recorder. Learning to play the recorder turns into a game you can't put down… and ten minutes in, you're already playing your first song.

🎯 WHY IT WORKS
◆ NEW: slow speed and half-song practice, for that passage that won’t come out.
◆ It really listens: real-time note detection through your phone's mic. No buttons to tap, no on-screen virtual flute: it's your soprano recorder that plays.
◆ Falling notes with their name and color: see which note is coming, when it lands and how long to hold it. Like karaoke, but for recorder notes.
◆ Fingering always in view: the finger position for every note (Baroque fingering, the one in music-class method books) right under the scrolling score.
◆ Note-by-note feedback: Early, Good or Perfect! You know instantly where you slip and why.

🏆 LEVEL UP LIKE A GAME
Seven ranks, from Apprentice to Legend. Start with three notes (G, A and B) and unlock notes, tempo and memory until you own the whole recorder, B-flat included. Every note is worth 10 points for how long you hold it and how precisely you come in. Bronze, silver and gold per song… and gold has to be earned.

🎼 55+ SONGS FOR RECORDER
Ode to Joy, Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Silent Night, Jingle Bells, Greensleeves, Frère Jacques, Hot Cross Buns, Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridge, Für Elise, Pachelbel's Canon, The Blue Danube, Grieg's Morning Mood, Eine kleine Nachtmusik, the William Tell gallop, When the Saints Go Marching In, Oh! Susanna, Yankee Doodle, Old MacDonald, Amazing Grace, Deck the Halls, O Christmas Tree, O Come, All Ye Faithful, Brahms' Lullaby, Alouette, Korobeiniki, Kalinka, Bella Ciao, Swan Lake, Can-Can, Funiculì, Funiculà… plus short drills for long notes, quick notes, leaps and echoes to loosen up your fingers. Easy recorder songs for beginners and classical pieces to show off with. Is the one you want still locked? Try it right away in try-out mode: slower, with every hint.

🎤 TUNER & SOUND CHECK
See which note the app hears, tune your recorder and calibrate it in seconds (plastic recorders usually run a little sharp). If a note won't come out, this is where you find out why.

🎙️ RECORD, LISTEN BACK & SHARE
Record your session, play it back and send it to anyone. Hearing yourself is the fastest way to improve.

👥 IT'S FOR YOU IF…
• You're starting from zero and want to play your first tune today.
• You've got a recorder piece to nail for music class.
• You played years ago and want to pick the recorder back up without a teacher.
• You teach music and want a fun way for your students to practice at home.

🔒 YOUR AUDIO NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE
Note detection runs on the device. Nothing is sent to any server; a recording is shared only if you choose to share it. All melodies are traditional or public-domain works shown as notes: the music is yours.

🌍 Available in 13 languages, with note names in C-D-E, Do-Re-Mi or the German system. Works with any soprano recorder.
