Used to be ok. now wants to back to cloud and on device transcription is hidden away. If you do accidentally sync to cloud, get ready for a slow experience removing each recording individually. It's basically slop now.

Yet another pixel system app that doesn't work. File type can't be changed or shared anywhere and all recordings are hidden in the system files where you can't access them. Do not use

I record music, like jam sessions on my phone, usually finger picking guitar riffs, and when I record using the app on Pixel 10 and listen to it back, there are brief moments where the audio skips or pops or plays back at like 1.5 the speed. It might not seem like a big deal, but it messes up the flow of the music. I owned a Pixel 7 and used it to record music for years with no issue like this. To make sure I wasn't crazy I recorded a song using both phones & it's like I described.
