Description
RedEye allows your phone or tablet to stay awake by preventing it from going into sleep mode regardless of whatever apps are also running. It allows you to quickly and easily turn on & off automatic sleep mode without having to dig through the configuration menus.
Features:
• Tapping a notification is so much easier than digging through the settings menus to find the timeout delay • Configurable start at boot and enable at boot • Optional (but recommended) auto-disable on low battery • Optional auto-enable and disable on external power (i.e. the AC recharger cord) • Optional auto-disable on manual screen shut-off • 4 levels of 'awake' to choose from ranging from fully on to screen off but CPU continues to run • Does not interfere with applications that already provide this functionality • Allows the device to remain on even if policies impose a mandatory timeout
This version is support by AdMob advertisements. To remove these, please purchase the paid version.
Recent changes: Version 1.6:
· Fixed Lollipop issue with opening settings screen · Migrated code base to Google's new Android Studio development IDE · Updated base API update to Lollipop Android 5.1
NOTE: The Google Play libraries built into Android Studio do not allow me to omit previously-unnecessary default permissions. Redeye does not use any of these newly-required permissions but the AdMob library might. The much smaller permissions set in the paid version is just one more reason to upgrade.

Perfect!! I have this little 7in Android and tried to use it as a alarm clock, but it kept going to sleep mode. if leave the display on, it will be too bright, thanks to this application, I can now use cpu only to wake it up and set the alarm. I have tried other profile manager, somehow it does not work on tablet (phone okay), in order to keep the apps alive, I need to come out of sleep mode. This app has done perfect job!

Works well, annoying notification Terrific app that eliminates the wake lag issue on Samsung Note 2 that goes to "deep sleep" soon after the screen turns off. I no longer have to wait 2 seconds before the screen turns on. What keeps me from giving this app 5 stars is the annoying and distracting yellow icon in the notification bar whether you enable or disable the app. Either (1) have a nicer more subdued notification icon than the current "goofy" and bright one or (2) have a toggle widget instead or (3) have the ability to disable or enable the notification. Thanks!
