RedEye Stay Awake

★★★★★ Note 2 Can now wake up the screen to unlock immediately. Before it took almost 2 seconds of staring at the blank screen before I could even unlock to use. I don't know if this is standard now as previous phones lit up instantly when hitting the button. Some say it is to preserve battery. But I haven't noticed any significant battery depletion using this app. I do wish it would stay enabled after unplugging charger or earphones. It stays enabled when plugging either in, but disables after unplugging.

★★★★★ Set up my phone to show "Active Notifications" at all times Active Notifications on Moto X is awesome. I wanted to keep it on constantly not just 'pulse' but truly always on. Battery life be damned. The stock "Active Notification" on Moto X won't stay on at all times. This app combined with Dynamic Notifications allows me to have Active Notifications ALWAYS ON. I tried a few alternatives, then I searched paid apps, well worth the money. Works as advertised, love it.

★★★★★ Awesome Works as advertised. I use exchange, and want to hook up OTG external drive for my galaxy nexus. This lets me keep the music player open when I am driving.

★★☆☆☆ The app had worked as advertised up until August 2017. Since then, trying to toggle the icon displays "Please connect to the Internet so Redye can obtain licensing permissions from Google Play," but I can connect just fine. As the developer has recommended to another reviewer, I have reinstalled the app, but no luck. I can still access the app's settings, but changing them shows the same error. For this reason, I strongly recommend against buying this app until the developer addresses this problem, but I would also encourage others who are experiencing the same issue to write reviews, as well.

★★☆☆☆ Abusive DRM. "Please connect to the internet so Redye can get license from Google." This DRM is abuse-- nothing else. A connection is not always available.
