I've been using Red Reader ever since Reddit broke the 3rd party apps, and I could no longer easily use RIF. The official Reddit app is trash and is practically unusable for a lot of people who spend a lot of time on Reddit (like me). Red Reader is an excellent alternative, and I'm very grateful for its existence. I highly recommend using this app instead of the non-RES browser site and Reddit's official app. Huge bonus: there are no ads on Red Reader. 11/10 stars.

I have had this for 15 min, and it brings back RIF vibes. Just missing one thing: Could you bring back the post scroll? If viewing a video or image you could swipe up or down and go to the next/previous post.

Overall works great. Recently in my Saved section, the saved comments stopped displaying - only saved posts are showing up.

For me, login problem starts with being unable to set Red Reader to use browser to open Reddit login page, it only opens it in Red Reader in Android 16. App hasn't been updated in over a year. Still working on older Android phones.

Unable to use this properly, because I can't add my Reddit account. Every text field on the login pages briefly shows the keyboard before it immediately collapses, so I can't add my username or password.

Wack. Doesn't actually show posts and looks awful. Ui is 100 years old and slow. Doesn't seem worth it to mess with settings and get it to look the way you want and then realize it doesn't actually connect to anything or show any posts.
