Reels Counter: Scroll Tracker

You scrolled ___ reels today. Screen time says "Instagram, 1 h 40". It never says that was 212 videos. Reels Counter fills in that blank, live, and helps you stop doomscrolling and scroll less.

It counts every short video you swipe in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook Reels and Snapchat Spotlight, including the Lite apps and Reels or Shorts opened in your browser.

SEE THE REAL NUMBER
• A live reel counter that ticks up the moment you swipe
• A floating bubble with your count on top of the feed
• A brain mascot that goes from fresh to fried to cooked as the day goes on
• Time in feeds, longest binge, per-app split and seconds per reel
• Weekly charts, a monthly calendar and the hour you always slip
• A morning summary and a weekly report card with a grade

LIMIT REELS, GENTLY OR FIRMLY
• A daily reel limit with reminders at 50%, 80% and 100%
• Presets in one tap: Count only, Gentle, Firm or Strict
• Pause card: at your goal the feed dims and the brain breathes for ten seconds, then you choose to stop or watch five more
• Ask before opening: a few seconds to decide each time you open a feed
• Strict close: the feed closes once you hit your limit
• Focus sessions that block every short-video feed for 25, 50 or any minutes
• Quiet hours, per-app limits and a goal that shrinks a little every week
• An optional PIN so loosening a rule takes a moment of intent

PAUSE OR SWITCH ANYTHING IN ONE TAP
• Pause counting for an hour, the rest of the day or until you resume
• Pause from the Today screen, the notification or a Quick Settings tile
• Every feature is one switch in a single Features list

BUILD A BETTER HABIT
• Cut your screen time on short videos a little every week
• Streaks with a weekly shield, so one slip does not undo your progress
• Stickers for clean weekends, early mornings and focus time
• Challenges on your own or with friends

SHARE IT
• A share card for every day in its mood colour, as a story or a square
• Hide the number and post just the brain
• Cards for a new shield, a streak or a won battle
• One tap to WhatsApp or Instagram Stories

BATTLE YOUR FRIENDS (OPTIONAL)
• Lowest count wins, with friends by code or in a squad
• Only daily totals are shared, under an anonymous id, and you can delete them any time

PRIVATE AND FREE
• Offline by default: nothing leaves your phone unless you join Battles
• No account, no ads, no subscription. Every feature is free.
• Export your history as CSV or delete it any time
• In English, Hindi, Indonesian and Brazilian Portuguese

HOW IT COUNTS
Reels Counter uses Android's accessibility service, limited to the video apps and browsers, to notice when you move from one video to the next. It reads view identifiers and scroll positions, and in a browser only the address to recognise a Reels or Shorts page. It never reads your messages, passwords or anything you type.

Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Snapchat are trademarks of their owners. Reels Counter is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
