Very close! This is the closest to what I've been looking for 2 years! I'm even liking its unusual persistence, something new. But it's missing something very critical: reminder pop-ups! It's great that the reminders appear in the notification area, but that is too, too easy to miss esp. if time-critical. Add that all-important feature, and I'd buy this one.

Good bit: The alarm did activate. • Bad bit: when you hear the alarm, then you need to swipe down to see your notification > tap on it > when the app opens THEN You've got to tap on the GREEN Record/Play button in order to hear your message reminder. • Was hoping for a Speaking Reminder = 3*. PS: It records YOUR voice.

I recently subscribed to the annual plan and am still receiving advertisements. Additionally, I activated dark mode out of curiosity, and while it did activate, I was unable to revert to light mode.
