Honestly I was surprised it just worked. Also, the upgrade currently isn't necessary for core functionality.

Works well for the most part. Biggest annoyance is with the keyboard. If I use the keyboard more than once per "session", it will copy and add to what I typed the previous times with each subsequent uses. I have to disconnect, then reconnect, to clear the memory of the previous thing I typed.

Could not locate my device. I am on the same Wi-Fi network (only one in the house) and it couldn't locate the device at all. I tried turning Wi-Fi off and on, turning the device off and on: nothing. Just couldn't find it.

Nice looking interface, but it doesn't connect to my Apple TV. It gets to the "enter code" screen and nothing appears on my Apple TV. :(

No volume control. I installed and used all the functions successfully - except, I failed to attempt to control the TV volume before paying for the subscription. Then, I sent a message to their support asking if there happened to be a setting for the remote, Apple TV, or my TV that would allow their app to control the volume. I've heard nothing from them after a week. I'll eat the subscription cost, but the app deserves a less than one-star review for this lack of functionality and support.
