Comments on Remote for LG Smart TV for Android

★★★★☆ Margaret Howe · Oct 4, 2026

Takes a long time to once you open the app. Works better with iphone than samsung. Downloaded to Samsung, and apparently I have to pay for again to get full remote access even though I paid for 12 months recently on the iPhone which has died, and I can't access the remote. I am not paying for another 12 months

★★★★☆ Victoria Durbin Sanchez · Feb 9, 2026

Good app except for just when I would get the TV up and running the remote would go in to ads.

★★★★★ H. Childs · Aug 19, 2026

Really helps when the dang kids disappear the remote. Lol

★☆☆☆☆ l w · Dec 22, 2024

That many ads you can't even use the free one. You only have to click on center button to select and all ads pop up. It has to be one of the worst apps going.

★☆☆☆☆ Aaron Dorman · Apr 21, 2026

The ads are excessive and make the remote frustrating to use

★☆☆☆☆ Steve · Jul 21, 2026

When it works, Gr8, but nr' half the time, u just see a wheel spin with "You need to be on the same network as your TV" ...who d'eff ain't? 99.99999% of Smartify's buyers will be. When it keeps refusing 2'connect, I can connect any app, e.g. run a YouTube vid, when this ap' keeps refusing to connect, tapping it away to reload it doesn't help, you have to actively use another app, like to send an email, complete a Google search & then return & Smartify'll re-connect, 5'mins for a prog' or vol' change!

Press two button and then into adds every time. Does work well as a controller as dog ate mine. Keeping for now. Refuse to pay a monthly price to remove ads

★★☆☆☆ Nadine Nzongo · Sep 11, 2024

Good but if I press the middle button ad pops out and always glitching
