How to start the app 2 ways to start the app.
Tap to Start - Just tap on your wear's face. - Scroll to the bottom and you can find the 'START' on the list view. - Tap 'START' and scroll vertically a bit, you'll find 'REMOTE SHOT'
Voice command say 'START REMOTE SHOT' and wake up.
Picture folder Picture will be saved in phone's default 'Pictures' folder. (please note 'Pictures' foder is inside internal storage.Not in the SDCard)
*Smartphone and LG G Watch R (Round-faced Android Wear Watch) must be paired before you use it. To Android 6.0 (and higher) phone users.
If you use Android OS version 6.0(Marshmallow) and above.It brought a big new battery-saving feature called Doze mode. Remote Shot may not remain connected unless the Remote Shot app is allowed to run in the background after Android 6.0. Various information provider runs in the background on your phone and you can check the various information displayed on our watchface on your watch.
So please add your Remote Shot app to the list of not optimized apps by the following procedure.
Step1 Start 'Android Wear' app on your phone. You can see 'STAY CONNECTED' notice on the screen.Tap 'STAY CONNECTED' button.
Step2 Tap 'CONTINUE'
Step3 Tap 'YES' to ignore battery optimizations for 'Android Wear' app.
Step4 Tap 'Settings' on your phone.And Tap 'Battery' in the settings list.
Step5 Tap menu button on top-right.
Step6 Tap 'Battery optimization'
Step7 Tap 'Not optimized' and change it to 'All apps'.
Step8 Scroll down and you can find 'Remote Shot' in the list.
Step9 Tap 'Remote Shot' and select 'Don't optimize'
Step10 Tap 'DONE' to complete the setup.

I used to have an LG G4 and paired it with the LG Watch Urbane. Since the application had a native app, I didn't need a third party remote shutter. However, when I had to switch phones and switched to the Samsung Galaxy Note FE, the remote shutter thing on my watch is my most missed feature on my old phone. Note that I still have the Urbane as my daily driver as it ain't broke yet. I was hesitant to buy this at first due to the lack of (legitimate) reviews, and after trying it out, it's definitely working. The black bars shouldn't really bother you., and it's better this way as that's the same way how the native remote shutter app works when I had an LG phone. Things I liked: 1.) Ability to stream the shot from your phone to your watch, much like the old native remote shutter app. 2.) More fine controls like setting up the timer and flash from the watch 3.) Can still take pictures even with the flip cover closed 4.) Silent shots Things to improve: 1.) Ability to store pictures on SD card 2.) Ability to take videos. 3.) I literally can't find the "doze' mode. Things that I would want to work but is very unlikely: 1:) Make it compatible with the native camera app.

Good job Tried another generic wear app and was a bit buggy. Great to see one written for LG watches. Works well. One suggestion would be to have the whole screen used {without black strips top and bottom} for picture. My watch is LG urbane.

NEEDS SERIOUS WORK Great attempt dev, but I paid for this and was in a position, so I couldn't do the refund in time, but problems... It has tons. The picture on my g watch r is either upside down or sideways for the camera, and it Definitely doesn't pull up like the picture shows. There's a free app for the g watch r and actually works. If things get fixed, I'll gladly re-rate.
