Reposteria y Pasteleria

Reposteria y Pasteleria: learn baking with video classes and baking lessons for beginners — real baking, from sponge cakes to fondant.

This app gathers hand-picked channels and 15 written lessons so you can bake at your own pace, with no sign-up and no account.

WHAT YOU GET

• Video channels picked one by one, so you don't lose time deciding what to watch.
• 15 lessons: ingredients, mixing technique, sponge, creams and fillings, fondant, decorated cookies, chocolate tempering, shortcrust and tarts, cupcakes, artisan bread, meringues, puff pastry and dessert verrines.
• Simultaneous kitchen timers: preheat, bake and rest at once, each with its own alert.
• A cups-to-grams converter per ingredient, plus the oven temperature table in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• A 49-term glossary with topic filters.

A COURSE, NOT A PILE OF RECIPES

Taken in order these baking classes work as a baking course: technique first, then the things technique lets you make. If you searched for a baking and pastry course or pastry baking classes, this is that shape — the lessons cover both baking and pastry, from tarts to puff pastry and meringues.

WHY, NOT JUST HOW

The lessons explain the reason: why butter goes in at room temperature, why a sponge sinks if you open the oven early, why chocolate needs tempering to set with a shine.

The last lesson turns it outward, into pricing, orders and presentation, if you ever want to sell what you make.

Lessons and glossary work without a connection; videos stream and need internet.
