ResawKerf Chart

ResawKerf Chart is an offline-first bandsaw workbench that turns stock thickness, target leaf thickness, and blade kerf into one glanceable cut card—before you make the first pass. Open the app and land on a fullscreen kerf-waste chart, not a notes list. A stacked stock bar shows every leaf and every kerf gap to scale, with live slice count, total kerf waste, leftover core, and percent yield that update on every keystroke. Lock your target leaf and read the resaw fence offset beside the chart. Set the fence once, cut confidently, and hit thickness on the first setup. Optional face-side notes help when you are bookmatching pairs. Built for furniture makers, veneer sawyers, mill shop hands, and serious hobby resawyers who care about yield: • Blade kerf preset library — common bandsaw kerfs (about 0.025–0.045 in / 0.6–1.1 mm) plus custom named blades saved on device • Dual units — decimal mm and inches with fractional display (1/32, 1/16); values persist per job • Saved resaw jobs — name, species tag, stock, target, kerf, yield snapshot, fence offset, and last-edited time for shop recall • Side-by-side kerf compare — two blades on the same stock and target so you see slice count and waste delta before you change blades • Seed scenarios — hardwood board to 1/8 veneer, softwood panel leaves, thin lamination strips, thick plank splits—load straight onto the chart • One-tap cut sheet — plain-text clipboard summary of stock, leaves, kerf, waste, and fence offset for shop notes (no network or share sheet required) • Chart safety cues — over-thin leaf warning, impossible fit when target plus kerf exceeds stock, and minimum leftover-core hints without blocking offline edits No account. No cloud. Your numbers stay on the bench where the saw is. Waste less wood. Set the fence once. Resaw with a chart you can trust at a glance.
