It is Like an advanced connect 4 game. With 4 levels of difficulty. Very easy, easy, medium, hard. Online, offline. You can even set it to always show all of your possible moves to help you get use to seeing the board.

Expert level is trying to take many of your stones from the very beginning of the game which is usually a naive way of playing that most of the time will lead yourself to losing. Needs more difficulty and a multiplayer mode.

The game functions well, and if you're new to the game of othello it's probably a good app to learn on. The problem is the AI is way too easy to beat. I haven't played in years and have no problem beating expert level. The AI and maybe the programmer, don't understand that at the beginning having an only few pieces inside your opponents pieces is a strong position. It also doesn't seem to understand that done correctly you can give up all 4 corners and control the board.

Ad after every game and a set number of plays before having to watch yet more ads. The game is really trying to milk ad profit. Choose ads after every game or use play energy. Not both. Consumer friendliness is a very valid way of making profit. This is more control than valid capital strategies.
