Revive360 – for Gear 360

Revive360 makes the Samsung Gear 360 (2016, SM-C200) camera work again, with any Android phone.

Samsung's Gear 360 apps no longer work on today's phones. Revive360 is a free, open source app that brings the camera back: shoot from your phone, see what the camera sees, change its settings and get real 360° photos.

IMPORTANT: THE CAMERA NEEDS A SMALL ADD-ON
Revive360 talks to a small add-on that you install once on the camera, from a computer, through its microSD card. The free install guide walks you through it in about half an hour, and Samsung's original camera software can always be put back. Without the add-on the app cannot connect to the camera.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Shoot photos, videos, time-lapses and looping videos from your phone, with the self-timer
• See the camera's live view before you shoot
• Change the camera's settings: lens, size, self-timer, exposure, white balance and more
• Copy photos and videos to your phone, or delete them from the camera, one or many at a time
• Turn the camera's photos into real 360° photos that Google Photos and other apps recognise
• Look around a 360° photo, straighten it, pick a frame or make a "little planet", and save it as a normal photo

SIMPLE
• Works with any Android phone (Android 10 or later): it does not have to be a Samsung
• Pairs by itself over Bluetooth: nothing to type
• The camera's Wi-Fi is on only while the app needs it, to save its battery

PRIVATE
• No account, no ads, no analytics
• The phone talks straight to the camera: nothing goes to the internet

• The Gear 360 (2017, SM-R210) is not supported yet
