Very cool mahjong game. I started playing it for the Danganronpa characters collab but didn't manage to get any 😭 (plz let the collab return). I don't really care for the non collab characters in the game tho so IDK If I'll be playing that much now, but it's a good game if you want to play mahjong.

Let me preface this by saying I'm an absolute beginner at mahjong. I tried mahjong soul before and decided to give Richie city a spin to try out new strategy. However, I fell in love with it. The gameplay well it's riichi mahjong, tile discards are a lot better implemented it's easy to tell from where they are discarded. The gacha rates are way better. Character feel unique and not all of them are thirst traps. Matches feel a lot more balanced in terms of strength of opponents.

Mahjong in itself is interesting and all, but my luck is so garbage every round and game has grown boring and the Honor System made it worse. Worst part of it being screwing with my sleep schedule because having a winning hand even ONCE is harder than you all think, make a task to "reach Tenpai" or something. Winning ONCE within two games CAN be impossible, most likely so in my case. On a side note, ever since Kaoru's arrival, I've never seen a SINGLE "male rerun", which means, "over a year"????

Gaacha is a total scam. I wanted to unlock an akagi character, spent like 20 euros, Didn't get a single akagi/ten char, instead I got 10 stupid food items... what a rip-off. Very disappointed.

The worst mahjong game, not because character, or store price... it was when u play, u already know from the start who will win...LOL!!! If ur riichi got ron multiple time from top, that is ur fate, u only lose, nothing u can do...so different from Mahjong Soul, there u can come back if calculate well, here is no way...LOL!! U already know u 1 or 4th place from the start... should spend money on Mahjong Soul then riichi city... waste my money
