Ring Escape is a gear puzzle about getting every hero to the gate that matches their color. You turn gears to carry heroes around the circle, then tap a hero to make it jump onto the neighboring gear. The catch is a limit on your moves, so every turn has to count.
How it works
Heroes ride on the gears, so each rotation shifts the whole line-up. Work out the route first, then decide when to spin and when to jump. One careless turn can carry a hero away from the gate it was about to reach.
Puzzle mechanics
• Gear rotation — turn a gear to move the heroes on it around the circle
• Hero jump — tap a hero to leap onto the neighboring gear
• Linked and independent gears — some gears are coupled and move together, others spin on their own
• Highlighted bridges — see exactly where a hero can cross from one gear to another
• Gates of different capacity — each gate takes only as many heroes as it can hold
• Boosters and undo — use a booster to get out of a tight spot, or take a move back
Made for careful planning
The move limit rewards thinking a few steps ahead, and the rules are easy to read at a glance. Tutorial hints walk you through each new kind of gear and gate, while undo lets you try a route again without starting over.
