Description
The Rinnai fireplace app controls features of new Rinnai fireplace models. This is not a standard feature fitted to all models. The Rinnai fireplace app will enable you to set a temperature and the fireplace will then bring the room temperate to the set level, and maintain that temperature. It will enable you to switch between set temperature to manual flame height control mode. In this mode you can manually adjust the flame height up or down. It enables automatic timers to be easily set and changed for each day of the week. You can register multiple devices to control the fireplace and then you can have fireplace controller wars with your children or spouse. You will wonder how you ever lived without it.

★★★★★
Good app, clear and intuitive. Temperature measurement is confusing. It always seems to read higher than the actual temp. The remote is a waste. I only use the app.
★★★★★
Works perfectly. Went with the Wi-Fi module for our Rinnai log fire because buying a replacement remote was more expensive. This is easily better with lots more functionality. Now we can control our gas log fire from anywhere outside our home via the app. Saves me time and money as well as never coming home to a cold house anymore. The timer function is easy to set up and edit. Turns on and off when I want it, and to the temperature I want. Changing my Wi-Fi when changing my modem was easy too.
★★☆☆☆
Bought our fireplace just before the model got updated to include the Wi-Fi controller as standard so ended up getting the retrofit kit as wanted the ability to set timers etc. App is unusable! So slow and clunky and often won't connect to the fireplace. Try to set or update a timer, and it sits there with a loading circle indefinitely.
★★☆☆☆
Timer function has become unelectable. Worked until a week ago. And now it's just showing but click to make changes to timers. Annoyingly this means the timers set before are locked in until this feature is fixed. Using Rinnai sapphire
