This is the best graphics racing game I have been playing since 2015. This year in 2026, I purchased its Riptide GP game and I am enjoying the same.

As a Hydro Thunder and Hydro Thunder Hurricane casual fan of those games. Riptide doesn't disappoint as a spiritual successor, as well as having the tricks from Wave Race Blue Storm as a way to gain a boost. It has multiplayer split screen, and it works great on Samsung DeX, supports Bluetooth controller and keyboard as well. Has online played, but it seems like no one plays online. Good visuals of it own and has Hydro Thunder inspired tracks. It's a recommend for a different take on racing games.

I have an issue with the swipe gesture detection when trying to do a stunt. The game isn't recognizing my finger gestures very well and often causes a stunt not to happen at all, or the wrong stunt happens. This makes it frustrating to play. The gesture detection in Riptide GP 2 worked much better in my experience, so it's odd that it's broken in this game.

All I did was play the tutorial, and I'm already seeing arguably the biggest problem with the game: the controls. I don't mind tilting my phone, but turning is WAY TOO TIGHT. No one who just plays the tutorial should have bad feelings about the game so soon.
