RIVA WAND

★★★★★ Please add a detailed equalizer. Beg. The Riva Festival has too much low bass for me. I would really like to cut the lowest frequencies.

★★★★★ The speakers are fantastic. Works work seamlessly with Google Cast over Wi-Fi. The Bluetooth and line-in audio options also work well. I wish the speaker would automatically choose line in is something was plugged in. The app isn't as sophisticated as Sonos but...Google Cast. Sonos just doesn't do that. And the Riva arena speakers sound much better than Sonos One speakers. Bottom line, the Riva app could do better, but the speakers are superior, and the source options are outstanding. Pick your poison, great speakers with an okay app (Riva), or okay speakers with a great app (Sonos).

★★☆☆☆ Does not work ever. Great speaker rendered worthless by an useless app. If Riva is incapable of making their own app work, they should hire someone to build an app that works and have them sell it to those of us that are stuck with their speakers. I would pay for something that works

★★☆☆☆ Hardware : Riva Festival. Phone : Nexus 5. Tablet : Lenovo tab2 A10-70 Riva Wand version 2.7(23) Sorry but the app crashes every time I switch between audio sources, like from " my device " to " usb". At times it just says " load media error " and the speaker powers down on its own shortly afterwards. It actually also crashes when I switch between playlists,in the " my device " mode, and again it says " load media error " One can't create a playlist in either " my device " or " usb" which are the 2 main ways I intended to use this system. It " borrows " playlists from another app I use when in the " my device mode". In USB mode there's no " play all" function, one has to add songs one at a time. And the + icons on the right side of each song are so tiny that when I try to add a song to the queue it ends up playing it... Sometimes it just cannot read what's on the usb ... Or i would get it to eventually play the tracks I want from the usb and lo and behold, 10-15 mins later it just comes to a full stop on its own and then it just won't play any tracks from the usb. I've had to, since I received it yesterday,( 1st Nov 18) factory reset it around 9 times and setting it up again. And I can't recall how many time I just disconnected it from the mains. I was able to skirt the issue though, eventually, by using it only as a Bluetooth speaker with another app. But then, it feels as if I'm driving in a Ferrari fitted with a Toyota Echo engine ! I do love the hardware though. It sounds good, though I wouldn't say I'm impressed, but the app has really frustrated me and ruined my experience with the Riva Festival. Please improve it for a friendlier user experience and review. Thanks.
