✈️ River Strike: Retro Combat is a vertical scrolling arcade shooter inspired by the classic river combat games of the early 1980s.

Pilot your fighter jet along a winding river, destroy enemy forces, manage your fuel, and fight through 100 zones across 5 unique environments — each with distinct terrain and rising difficulty.

100 zones across 5 themed environments:
🌿 Jungle & Forest — lush foliage and deep rivers
🏜️ Desert & Savanna — golden sands and muddy waterways
🧊 Arctic & Tundra — icy passages and frozen banks
🏭 Urban & Factory — industrial zones and polluted rivers
🌋 Volcanic — lava rivers and scorched terrain

🔀 Split-Screen — 2 players compete simultaneously on one device
🔄 Turn-Based (Hot-Swap) — take turns, challenge a friend to beat your high score

Collect in-game scraps to upgrade your aircraft:
⛽ Fuel Capacity — fly further before refueling

🔵 NATO Blues — steel-blue F-16 with white star markings
🔴 Red Army — olive-green MiG with red star markings
Personalize your pilot callsign and fly your side's aircraft.

Slide to steer. Tap to fire. Collect fuel depots to stay airborne. Destroy bridges and enemy vessels to advance. River sections narrow, twist, and introduce island obstacles as zones increase.
