This keyboard is created for those who only need a keyboard and nothing more.
To enable the keyboard: * Open "Simple Keyboard" from your launcher * Enable the Simple Keyboard (default system warning about tracking will be shown) * Switch to Simple Keyboard from current Input Method (differs between keyboards, usually long-press space) * To edit Simple Keyboard settings long-press "," or open system Settings, Languages & Input, Simple Keyboard. * You can enable/disable all the input methods in Settings, Languages & Input, Manage Keyboards (differs between phones)

IDK what the bottom 2 reviews are saying but Simple Keyboard does the job pretty well. No clutter, no bloat, just the essentials. It's perfect for low-end devices (I couldn't even track this keyboard's consumption on my A52, that's how small it is). If you care about battery and don't mind sacrificing emojis and other modern keyboard features like autocorrect this is perfect for you.

In-built clipboard feature would be amazing. Edit: Thanks for your response, devs; but I meant by clipboard history where more than one texts could be stored. Long pressing "," only works as "paste".

This App states NO data collection or sharing, right. I downloaded and when in Setting, when to tap to turn the keyboard on!...lol...THEN it tells you it can collect your flipping PASSWORDS! CREDIT CARD NUMBERS! Texts! Like what an SCAM! This happened on 2 other app that DENIES Data collection and sharing! I'm so fed up with these Flipping wicked corporate moguls!

Only reason I'm downloading this ugly app is because I have to do an exam. The ui isn't simple, it's just ugly and the customization is very limited

2 years ago gave 4 stars bcos spanish keyboard lacks opening symbols for questions and admiration marks, 2 years for 2 more than needed Spanish symbols, now 1 star because still lacking symbols and dev don't even read comments if theu r not positive.
