To enable the keyboard: * Open "Simple Keyboard" from your launcher * Enable the Simple Keyboard (default system warning about tracking will be shown) * Switch to Simple Keyboard from current Input Method (differs between keyboards, usually long-press space) * To edit Simple Keyboard settings long-press "," or open system Settings, Languages & Input, Simple Keyboard. * You can enable/disable all the input methods in Settings, Languages & Input, Manage Keyboards (differs between phones)

I've used this keyboard for a LOT, primarily for avoiding samsung keyboard autocorrect, but can you add more punctuation, more emojis, and more diacritics?, thank you

I've used Microsoft's swift key for years. Tried some others without success. Simple kybd is the first one that I found I actually like to use and may stick with. I would like them to add an uppercase lock when I want to write a word in all uppercase. I don't use emojis, so that's good. Clip history is not important to me either. Option to make the space bar a tad taller wiuld be nice. I use Whisper Flow for voice to text and that with Simple Kybd is win-win for me. Update: thxs uppercase lock tip!!

Every Android in the world should use this keyboard as the default! It's such a refreshingly simple alternative to that default Google garbage board with suggestion attacks and Emoji attacks and whatever else. It has the only feature that I care about, which is a button on the bottom, so I can switch to Voice texting when needed. Thanks for making my life simple again.

This App states NO data collection or sharing, right. I downloaded and when in Setting, when to tap to turn the keyboard on!...lol...THEN it tells you it can collect your flipping PASSWORDS! CREDIT CARD NUMBERS! Texts! Like what an SCAM! This happened on 2 other app that DENIES Data collection and sharing! I'm so fed up with these Flipping wicked corporate moguls!

Only reason I'm downloading this ugly app is because I have to do an exam. The ui isn't simple, it's just ugly and the customization is very limited

2 years ago gave 4 stars bcos spanish keyboard lacks opening symbols for questions and admiration marks, 2 years for 2 more than needed Spanish symbols, now 1 star because still lacking symbols and dev don't even read comments if theu r not positive.
