Yay! It now has dark mode now! Thank you! So good! 10/10 I use this as an alternative to an actual radio around my house it gets much better reception & can be moved anywhere in the house. It would be even better if it had a dark mode.

Find this app runs better on the iPhone rather than Galaxy or play store. Usually it cuts out more often than not. Have enabled all permissions on Galaxy tp prevent app from sleeping. Not a recent issue but a legacy one. Have reached out to RNZ to no avail. As I am offshore love to listen to RNZ.

It's recently started cutting out randomly. Thought it was just due to being rural and relying on Wi-Fi for radio, but it does it with podcasts as well. Otherwise could be better but now BBC Sounds is inaccessible then it's up top for my listening. VERY irritating having to keep pressing 'play' all the time though, particularly in the morning for some weird reason

I enjoy RNZ, the best online NZ news content, but the app is very unsatisfactory. The inability to open and zoom graphics and photos in the app, or even just zoom or rotate the page, makes it impossible to see details or read small type, e.g. in charts. I have waited a year to see if they might listen to customer feedback and fix it, but it's clear that they are not interested, so, sadly, I will uninstall and just use chrome. 👎

I love RNZ, but really struggle with this app. It's clunky and hard to use. No rotation or zoom on stories is a real pain. Sometimes, glitches require a reinstallation to fix. My biggest gripe is the recent decision to stop offering National News as a stand-alone tab. WHY??? Sometimes (aka quite often) I don't want politics or sports and just navigated directly to National news. But, the update has screwed that for me now.

No problem when playing RNZ radio first time in the day. But stopping and resuming, best the app could do is 15 seconds of playback. Workaround is to force close, launching again to play the radio.

Mostly ok but very frustrating when clicking on an article in the app to then be redirected to another site/browser. The article should be one click away.
