I've been using the RNZ app for years, both for the text content and the streaming audio. But I recently developed a slight visual impairment and would very much prefer to have the app in dark mode (white text on black background) and be able to zoom the text if needed. Accessing RNZ's website using Chrome with the inverse RGB flag enabled lets me use it in dark mode and zoomable .....but then why use the app? Thanks for any consideration of this request.

Yay! It now has dark mode now! Thank you! So good! 10/10 I use this as an alternative to an actual radio around my house it gets much better reception & can be moved anywhere in the house. It would be even better if it had a dark mode.

Radio ok. but news has been gutted. Very odd and annoying to just redirect out of the app to the web... odd decision also.

RNZ is my favorite news source, but I'm at my wits end with this app. In the app's settings I have turned off notifications for everything except 'breaking news' yet I still get bombarded with unwanted notifications about sport and frivolous puff pieces. I _want_ notifications about breaking news from RNZ! But it looks like I'm going to have to turn off notifications entirely because RNZ considers sports results and an article about someone making pies in the US to be "breaking news." Ridiculous.
