This does the job. You set the Road Angel to go into Wi-Fi mode by holding down the right (speaker) button, which then prompts the unit to tell you to click the same button again to enable Wi-Fi and a message appears on the screen saying it is now configured as a Wi-Fi Hotspot. (it acts like a Hub) You will then need to go into the settings of your smartphone and search for Wi-Fi Hubs to "pair" the two devices. Now you can use the app on your smartphone and 'read' the device. Next you can configure those features you wish, which are all fairly obvious. Remember to 'save' those settings back to the Road Angel.

Shockingly awful... Does not connect to road angel device, keeps telling me unable to connect... Don't know if it's the app or the device, but this is just poor from road angel...
