I have the previous version of Roberts, bought this version and am very happy with it. Works well. Image ID very good. Lots of clear pictures and info. Feedback from App developers when questions asked.

This App works quite well however there are issues with the recording of sightings. In particular entering a record for a previous date does not allow the date to be confirmed and reverts to the current date

Best bird app I've tried. The comparison of similar species is very useful for me. Well worth the yearly price.

Once I accepted a learning curve and was willing to give up old search habits, this new app hits its mark in every respect. I love the zoomable pics and maps, the named calls and the ability to set search indices. The only thing I miss is the side-by-side similar bird presentation from the old Android app. I also love that the app will evolve with name changes, new data, etc., which for me totally justifies the subscription model (and at a ridiculously low price). I adore the photo ID add-on.

I already bought Robert's bird but would not reinstall my purchase... bought Sasol instead because it's not asking me to do a yearly subscription edit: Thank you for responding to my review. Unfortunately, I want an app that updates their bird data, which is why I don't want to go back to the previous roberts app. The simplest solution is to switch to something that offers updates and is not a yearly subscription. I understand why your app is the way it is, but it's just not for me.

I kind of get it but extremely difficult to navigate around does not render for iPad pros. If you open the field guide and enter a bird to search for in the top bar it does not work. Not clear what this bar is for. Need to go to bird list and search for birds you have not seen. I have Sasol and Newman's and this is the most frustrating one to use. Preferred the old version. Not sure where all my old lists have gone. Tried to install from Google Drive, but you just go around in circles.
