A game freely inspired by old classic 8-bit jump-and-shoot games style, with some modern here and there.
All assets are ORIGINAL, created by seleveral personel, and any ressemblance to other apps or games, is just coincidence or a form of tribute to vintage games. Sprites are original from Iuri and Boberatu. Tilesets are original from opengameart, average-hanzo, Surt and Iuri. Music is original from Simone Bernacchia. Sound effects are original, created with BFXR.

Recent changes: Coil item jump not long. Fix position of hitbox and hitarea for enemies with background. New extra-data for NPCs, with jump speed fine-tuning. Fix double jump. Objects not being on the ground when stage starts. Player "falling" at the start of a stage due to 1 pixel difference in Y position. Fix game too fast after passing through a boss door. Menu showing text-over text when changing some options like enable audio.

Somehow my review got deleted, so I'm going to make it again this game is very fun even tho it's not the same when I played it in 2018 I miss the boss rush in the final level of the game and some of the themes but still a great game also I'm making this review in 2022

I don't get why people are hating this game, but this game is still good and I still have your original rock bot 1 game and I like the old design of beta bot but all I need is my boy rock bot in this game

I don't know what happened to this game, I know this used to be the well-loved Rock bot, I played the original, played some of the updates and kind of questioned some changes done, but then it was straight up taken down and replaced with this, I don't know what happened exactly, it could have been legal reasons, maybe you wanted to make some money off this and couldn't keep it looking like Megaman enough to get copyrighted or something, but I don't like what happened to this wonderful game.

This is terrible I played it when I was based off Megaman all that's changed is the main character all the bosses still look like they're from the Mega Man series if you're going to change the main character then you may as well change everything same goes for the second one it was horrible I played the second one when it was also still based on Mega Man either delete it change the entire thing I loved the original the controls weren't great, but it was still good
