Every time you update the app, something is effed up. Recently, I can no longer assign the direct-to-scan option to my Motorola button (only the app launch, then I need to navigate to add scan). Minor annoyance, but much more annoyingly - I have to refresh my OneNote targets authorization every day, and the error notification doesn't take you there (despite saying "click here to refresh") This is v. annoying You should at least QC the existing functionality before deploying any new versions.

I bought this notebook for $20 just for the app not to scan the pages! If you're reading this post hopefully you haven't already wasted your money on the notebook like I have. I've been wasting my time trying everything I could to get it to scan. It never scanned save your time and money don't bother wasting your time with this company!

Long time Rock book user, but the new app is TERRIBLE. PLEASE give us the option to turn OFF the moronic constant questions for things we don't want! I do not want to answer the option to use Presets FOR EVERY SCAN; I do not want to answer the question to allow Transcriptions FOR EVERY SCAN! PLEASE give us some settings to TURN THESE OFF! Speaking of settings, it would be REALLY useful if the descriptions were not cut off at the bottom of their list item! App is now almost unusable.

To be clear, this review is against JUST the app. The physical tablet works as advertised and is highly recommended. My griefs are with this app specifically. You should NEVER have to create an account before being able to access a physical product's core functionality. "Transcription" (OCR) is handled by off-device AI, which raises huge red flags. Worse, this feature is AWFUL at what it does. DO NOT RECOMMEND
