Romanum: Roman Colony Builder

The Senate entrusts you with a province in ruins and a handful of settlers. You decide where every road, house and well goes, and you answer to Rome for the result.

Romanum is a city-building and management game set in a fictional Roman province. Your colony grows at the pace of your decisions.

ROADS THAT BRING LIFE
• Every building needs a road to the Praetorium: settlers arrive along it, and porters and water carriers walk it.
• Houses level up, from adobe huts to finer homes, when they have water, food, a market and a temple nearby.
• Build by category: houses, water, farming, industry, services, religion, entertainment and defence.

SUPPLY CHAINS
• Quarries, woodcutters, farms, salt pans and workshops feed storehouses, the horreum and the macellum.
• A building without workers or raw materials stands still: that silence is your warning.

THE FOUR VIRTUES
• Humanitas, Opes, Disciplina and Gratia measure your rule every month.
• The Senate and your advisors report to you, warn you and hold you to account.
• Twelve ranks, earned by playing.

AN ELEVEN-STEP CAMPAIGN
• From the prologue in Aurisia to the whole Mosaic.
• From the third step on, you choose between two cities, each with its own objectives and deadline.
• Events with advance warning: fires, collapses, floods, epidemics, bandits and raids.

THE LEGION'S MARCH
• Quick battles along the road: gather recruits, pick a lane and dodge the blows.
• Bosses that switch lanes and phases.
• What the legion wins on the road comes back to your city.

A LIVING CITY
• Isometric view with residents walking the streets, day and night, and lights in the windows.
• Daily missions, a mailbox of letters and requests, a ledger and the augury of the day.

• Your game is saved in the cloud and can be linked to Google or an email address.
• Optional notifications, at most three a day, with quiet hours.
• You decide which diagnostic and usage data you share.
