Roofing calculator is the ultimate tool for carpenters involved in making timber roofing structures.

Simply enter the pitch and run to instantly get information including:

- The rise of the common rafter per metre (or foot) of run.
- The length of the common rafter.
- The length of the hip.
- Bevel angles including the seat and ridge for the rafter and hip/valley.
- The jack rafter decrease based on industry standard centres.

You can also input both IMPERIAL and METRIC units, and calculate using fractions of a pitch degree.

The Jack rafters answers on 18 inch on center is inaccurate. It's showing the same answer as 24 inch on center. The user should be able to input the roof pitch by ?/12 or by degrees, this app only allows input of roof pitch by degrees so if the user only knows the pitch by rise per foot of run then this creates a problem and the user then has to figure that out on his own.

I've looked at many roofing calculator apps on the Play Store, and this one wins easily for its simplicity, ease of use, and lack of subscription based nonsense. I don't need a 3D model, I don't want to input 6000 irrelevant measurements, I just want the damn rafter lengths and angles, and this app delivers.
