RovTrail: Offroad & ATV Maps

Offline maps and GPS navigation for ATV, quad, enduro, motorcycle and 4x4 on forest roads and trails across Europe. Voice guidance, ride recording, friends live, convoy, SOS and crash detection – in one app.

RovTrail is the map that grows with every ride: roads that no map knows yet are unlocked by the riders who ride them.

OFFLINE MAPS AND SATELLITE

• Once started, the route keeps guiding you even without signal
• Warning when a route crosses a national park or protected area
• Follow your saved trails or any GPX file, fully offline
• Speedometer with the speed limit, fuel range and the nearest fuel station

GPS RECORDING THAT NEVER GETS LOST
• Time, distance, speed and elevation, also with the screen off
• If the phone closes the app, the ride is recovered
• Trim the start and end, export or import GPX
• Turn your ride into a short video clip to share

FRIENDS LIVE AND CONVOY
• Friends' live location on the map – only with whom you choose, for as long as you want
• Convoy mode: a leader, "left behind" alerts, STOP / LET'S GO / REGROUP signals
• Push-to-talk radio and the leader's trail to follow
• Groups with a meeting point, chat with photos and voice messages

SOS AND CRASH DETECTION – FREE, ALWAYS
• The SOS button sends your exact position to the friends and groups you choose
• Crash detection: a 60-second countdown, then an automatic alert
• No mobile data? The alert goes out by SMS with your coordinates
RovTrail does not contact emergency services by itself. In a real emergency, call 112.

ROADS UNLOCKED BY RIDERS
• Ride a road the map does not have and your ride adds it for everyone
• Road conditions from riders: mud, fords, snow, ice, fallen trees – with photos
• Explorer stats, badges and regional leaderboards
• Anonymous: nobody sees who rode it or when; the first and last metres near your home are never published

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free: the map, 1 offline area (~50 × 50 km), routes and voice navigation, GPS recording, friends, convoy, SOS and crash detection, groups of up to 4.
Premium (optional subscription) adds:
• Satellite, relief, slopes and contour lines; 20 offline areas (~120 × 120 km)
• Off-road-only routes and round trips from where you are
• Groups of up to 50, a service log with reminders, statistics
• Exploration map, records on unlocked roads, ride clips in HD and 3D
• Your vehicle's brand as a scale model on the map, in your colour

PRIVACY
• Your rides stay yours: private, friends only or public – you choose
• No ads, no data sales; our servers are in the EU
• Export or delete all your data at any time, in the app

Ride responsibly: respect traffic rules, closed roads and protected areas.

Recent changes:
• Report Police, Gendarmerie or a Forest ranger on the map; reports clear by themselves after 2–3 hours
• Riding toward a report gives you a heads-up ("Police 600 m ahead")
• Passing one: "Still there?" – confirm it or clear it with one tap
• Partner pins no longer crowd the map; riders' reports stay on top of them
• Ride ideas may rarely include a page for local businesses (turn off in Settings → Notifications)
