Row Counter for Crochet & Knit

A row counter that never makes you pay to count. Tap anywhere on the big counter to add a row, keep every project's count, notes and timer, and add extra counters for repeats — all free, offline, no account. Then work out how much yarn to buy, your gauge, and where to increase evenly, in inches or centimeters.

NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO POP-UP ADS
• Every project and every extra counter is free. No subscription, ever: one small banner at the bottom and a one-time "Remove ads".
• No full-screen video ads in the middle of a row.
• Your projects stay on your phone — no account, nothing to lose when you log out. Free backup file for a new phone.
• Instant taps, works offline, light, dark and high-contrast themes.

ROW COUNTER FOR EVERY PROJECT
• A big tap area: tap anywhere on it to count a row. Undo and −1 always one tap away.
• As many projects as you like, each with its own count, notes and work timer — no subscription to count.
• Extra counters for pattern repeats or "decrease every 6 rows": link them to the rows and they move together, with a reminder when a repeat is done.
• Goal rows with a progress bar. Keep the screen on while you work. Feel each count (optional).
• Free backup file: save it to Drive or email and restore it on a new phone.

YARN CALCULATOR – HOW MANY SKEINS?
• How much yarn for a blanket (stroller, baby, crib, lapghan, throw, twin, full, queen, king), scarf, hat, sweater or socks, by yarn weight 1–7 and stitch (single crochet, half double, double crochet, knit).
• Always shown as an estimate with a range and its assumptions, plus skeins to buy.
• Exact from your swatch: weigh it and the app scales it up.

BLANKET SIZE CHART & STARTING CHAIN
• Common blanket sizes in inches and cm.
• How many chains to start (or stitches to cast on) at your gauge, and how many rows.

GAUGE CALCULATOR
• Stitches for any width, rows for any length, rounded to your stitch multiple.
• Match a pattern's gauge: how much bigger your piece comes out and how many stitches to use instead.

INCREASE & DECREASE EVENLY
• "Increase 12 across 120" written out for you: K5, M1, (K10, M1) × 11, K5 — flat or in the round, crochet or knit.

AMIGURUMI SPHERE CALCULATOR
• Round-by-round crochet ball or flat circle for any size: 6 sc in a magic ring, increases, rounds even, decreases.
• 3D preview of the ball: one color band per round. Drag to turn it, tap a round to see its stitches.

CHARTS & TERMS
• Crochet hook size chart (mm and US letters B-1 to S) with the right yarn weights.
• Knitting needle sizes: US, mm and old UK.
• Yarn weight chart 0 Lace to 7 Jumbo (Craft Yarn Council): gauge, hooks, needles, wraps per inch.
• Abbreviations: US vs UK crochet terms (sc = UK dc) and Spanish (sc = punto bajo).
• Price calculator for makers who sell: materials, hours and markup.

MADE FOR THE WAY YOU CRAFT
• US terms or UK terms, inches or centimeters.
• English and Spanish, light, dark and high-contrast themes.
• No account. Nothing leaves your phone.

WHY CLEAN SCREEN APPS — I got tired of apps that throw full-screen ads at you in the middle of a task, so I build apps with no pop-up ads. StitchTick is another one: one small banner at the bottom, never on your count, and a one-time "Remove ads" option.

Yarn amounts are estimates: your stitch, hook and tension change them. Work a gauge swatch and buy yarn from one dye lot.

Recent changes:
New in 1.6.0:
• A new yarn look: your current project's row count sits big in a yarn ring at the top; one tap opens the counter.
• Each project and extra counter has its own yarn color; tools are round yarn-colored icons.
• Yarn results read like "8,510 yd · 35 skeins".
• Message the developer from inside the app.
