I would use this app more often if I could operate it in stand-alone mode and not have to link it to my Tripper dash. Also having to keep the phone unlocked and screen on defeats the purpose of having the directions shown on the Tripper Dash if the phone is also unlocked and the screen is on. Works OK, but 3 major improvements would be: 1. Ability to use in stand-alone mode. 2. Phone able to be locked. 3. View map in Landscape.

I used it today for the first real test in Bangkok and it worked flawlessly. However, battery drain seems excessive. Also, there is a menu item to update software when connected to the pod, but clicking it does nothing. Oddly, the navigation is in both Thai and English. There is no option to choose one or the other. In another trial, the app inconveniently disconnects from the Tripper device. But it never reconnects by itself. I had to stop the bike, get the phone out and open the app again.

To connect to my Pixel 7 Pro, I had connect via a Samsung Flip 3 download an update and then bizarrely it connected to my Pixel 7, hurray. Go figure.

Unfortunately useless, new super Meteor delivery yesterday but cannot connect. No code ever shows up on the display when connecting to RE_disp.

I have Pixel 6 Pro and can't connect to the Tripper Dash on my Himalayan 450. Tried someone else's iPhone and that worked. However, it's still useless for me

Terrible, terrible experience. Purchased my 3rd RE bike in India and cannot connect to my brand new RE Himalayan navigation as for some reason, only known to RE, I cannot download the India app only the APAC app which does not work!!!!! NO ONE AT RE HAS A CLUE AND CAN ASSIST !!! SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH

The application should allow for an option to navigate without connecting to the tripper as not all royal enfield units are nor need to be equipped with a tripper our group for example consist of bikers who run older twins & Himalayan all of whom decided to keep these models for life as heritage bikes furthermore we hope to be able to connect to others & record trips with clearer & viewable digital markers immediate updates on the said matter are greatly appreciated
