It's a great app. Wish they would lose the adds for non subscribers and not pay wall reading chapter to chapter. I have not resubscribed due to these was an to honor the authors which I love doing alot of these stories have helped me at my lower points in life, when I missed a payment was downgraded to free account and saw how free was treated, ads I could understand but forcing the reader that's using tts to listen while driving now is fixed to switch manually. Which is sad

Far more forced ads, including full screen blocking, than the mobile site. Do not install this. Just use the website.

I was on the web page for a popular story on Royal Road, the app was suggested. Sure! I might even find some new stories. I search the title of the story I'm reading in the browser, and nope! App doesn't have it. I search by author, nope, hasn't heard of them. Immediate uninstallation. The app is as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

I used to love this app. Finding the most amazing story was easy, and it has turned into a pit of AI slop. For an app that was meant for people to share their stories and have a voice to allow this blatant disregard for actual authors are pushing away everyone who believed in this once. I will no longer be a premium member until they address and fix the poorly written AI generated stories that have infested the site.
