Enjoyable Class System Decent watercolor style visuals and an interesting job system are the hallmarks of this Kemco outing. The translation is a tad stronger than some of Kemco's other RPGs though it is still rough around the edges. The plot is of the typical JRPG variety and involves a group of heroes banding together to save the world from monsters, magic, etc. The job class system is what makes the game really intriguing. Three different base classes branch off into different paths as you proceed through the tiers. Master a job class, and it is unlocked for every character so that you don't have to travel through all the tiers with each character. You have several slots for skills and abilities, so you can combine the various talents you unlock from the classes in a variety of ways. Most job classes only have a few levels and a few skills to unlock so as you progress you will rapidly master job classes, and it is fairly easy to move your characters to the point where you will easily defeat any enemy you encounter. Within the first couple of hours, you will find yourself coasting through the rest of the (relatively short) game. Still, at only a couple of bucks it is fairly enjoyable.

Good Snes style rpg game! First of all whoever said it took 9 hours to clear is full of it, there is no way he did all the classes,all the quests, the 100 level dungeons in 9 hours, let alone the multiple endings. My only complaints are no manual and the auto combat, I wish you could turn it off at times especially when stealing, things like whatever action is at the top of the skills (like defend, attack,steal, mug)is what the will do constantly without manually clicking them.

It would have gotten a higher rating but the game glitched. I got to the part where you have to destroy the dark gates in the silver mine etc. and I went to each of the four levels and destroyed the gates, and it says to go back to headquarters. I did so and it won't say anything different but to destroy the gates, but they're already all destroyed. If anyone can help please do.

Decent sprites and music, tedious uninspired mechanics. Four towns with completely identical quests. Status ailments you can do nothing about, since it's easy to get the entire party to fall asleep at the same time. Even while incapacitated the enemies don't do damage, so you get to just sit there. I'm not getting the feeling the story goes anywhere, so it's all just kind of sad.

Fun, but... Evil grasshoppers keep my party sleep locked, but can't hurt me. Battle going on for fifteen minutes now and no side has done any damage. Can't exit the battle or return to title screen, requiring a FORCE CLOSE just to have it happen over again after reading my game. Poor design and logic.

Holy bead Ok it's a pretty good so far though I have not figured out how to use the "holy bead" supposedly used for new jobs but don't know how it works. Sad :(
