♠️ HOW RUMMY 500 WORKS
• 2 to 6 players: 13 cards each heads-up, 7 each at a bigger table
• Draw from the stock, take the top discard, or dig deeper: take a buried card and every card above it, then meld it at once
• Melds are runs (3+ in a row, one suit) and sets (3 or 4 of a rank)
• Lay off on any player's meld, and the points are yours
• Each hand scores your melded cards minus the cards still in your hand
• Ace is 15 (1 in A-2-3), faces and tens 10, jokers 15. First to 500 wins!

• Standard card values or the 5-10-15 table
• Top discard must be melded, as many card-game books require
