Great app for controlling the chicken door! Only one thing would be nice to have, and thay would be on the "open delay", if the sunrise open delay could be set to zero minutes. Other than that, great app! Great door! Thanks!

UPDATE: after reaching out to Run Chicken, they informed me that there is still a way to adjust the open and close times via the app for the "older models" that do not have Bluetooth. (I have the T-50 model). In the app, you must go to MENU, then click on "older models config" from there the process will look familiar. Run Chicken however, should make this more obvious. The run door itself is the best around. Never fails, and is of solid construction. The app could use some improvement.

The update no longer allows you to program doors that do not come with Bluetooth. This is a major problem as most of the doors in circulation likely are not Bluetooth models. Please revise the app ASAP. Update: Thank you for the quick fix. I was able to reprogram our doors today.

I have model T50. Good door closing mechanism. Reliable door. Closing protection against hurting chickens (even straw in door will cause reverse and pause on first closing). Battery lasts a year. Lots of great things about this door. The app is limited and does not communicate with the door by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It only communicates limited door closing and opening parameters by flashing the screen at the light sensor. This is useful but not what you might think the app might do.

I just bought this chicken door off amazon (May 2026). The amazon listings do not distinguish between special "Bluetooth" models or older models. My door will not connect via Bluetooth, so I assume that I purchased an older model, despite the listing clearly indicating I'd be able to control the door from the app. I had to use a janky manual programming mode, which seems like utter nonsense in 2026. 1-star for poor or misleading product info and an app that's mostly for a door I can't buy.

The older configuration link is broken. Can you please fix, so I can adjust my chicken coop door times again? Since the new app update I cannot open and close the door from my phone.

Door and app WERE great until the recent update. Now it is horrible. Completely useless. Will not be buying any more of Run-Chicken doors for my other coops. Was good while it lasted.
