I ❤ this game. MTG mechanics but in a lane format like Hearthstone or Mythgard, with fast-paced gameplay. Balance changes are common, and the devs keep in touch with player base often. Their discord hosts contests periodically to win foil cards. There is also a mercy system for the higher rarity cards. My only complaint is that the Light Triumvirate (Dawn, Emmys, Faith) are unbalanced beyond what their win % indicate in PVP. They have clocked abuse strats that you need a special deck list to beat.

Probably one of the best strategy deck building games just wish there were more to choose from as far as attributes, characters, and cards. 1p is challenging on all levels and winning on 2p is possible with the matchmaking engine. Shop is a little expensive for items and gaining currency is very slow for the grind. Like all deck games sometimes you don't get the cards you need while your opponent does. Some cards need to be nerfed and combos for ones without. 7/10⭐

Enemies can have more than 2 of each card in deck. Enemies seem to have fixed decks as well. One AI foe always had a certain card out on turns 2, 5, and 7. I actually restarted the game over and over to pull said foe on the arena AI. 17 times in a row, the foe had the same cards out on the same turns (Guy with chain through tongue). That's beyond randomness. This game cheats to make you spend money. Avoid this game like it's got covid and the plague.

Play and dump kinda game, abandoned by Dev's don't expect too much after completing meager 3 campaigns
