Hints First if the volume is low it can only be adjusted while you're changing letters (sound from app is playing), sucks I know, but its free. Secon for all you rating low saying "doesn't show what letter is in english" this is a different language and different alphabet with more letters than the english alphabet and sounds that don't exist in english of course it doesn't "translate" worst way to learn a language is to refer it to english. App works fine and thought me how to read russian. No sound for numbers

Helpful, Хорошо, Free, but Flawed This is a nice learning tool for beginners. It's easy to use and I like swiping to see and hear the letters in order. The pronunciations are clear. It's free with small ads! But, some minor quibbles: On my tablet, the keyboard is too small. You can't type the same letter twice in a row to hear it pronounced. It would be helpful to see the written (cursive) version of the letter next to the print version. It would be better if, in addition to the basic letter sound, its sound in a sample word was given.
