Description
Ruuvi Station is an easy-to-use application that allows you to monitor the measurement data of Ruuvi's sensors.
Ruuvi Station collects and visualises Ruuvi sensor data, such as temperature, relative air humidity, air pressure and movement from local Bluetooth Ruuvi sensors and Ruuvi Cloud. Additionally, Ruuvi Station allows you to manage your Ruuvi devices, set alerts, change background photos, and visualise the gathered sensor information through graphs.
How does it work?
Ruuvi sensors send tiny messages over Bluetooth, which can then be picked up by nearby mobile phones or specialised Ruuvi Gateway routers. Ruuvi Station mobile app enables you to collect and visualise this data on your mobile device. Ruuvi Gateway, on the other hand, routes the data over the internet not only to the mobile application but also to the browser application.
Ruuvi Gateway routes the sensor measurement data directly to the Ruuvi Cloud cloud service, which enables you to build a complete remote monitoring solution including remote alerts, sensor sharing and history in Ruuvi Cloud – all available within the Ruuvi Station app! Ruuvi Cloud users can view longer measurement history by using the browser application.
Use our customisable Ruuvi mobile widgets alongside the Ruuvi Station app when data is fetched from Ruuvi Cloud to view selected sensor data at a glance.
Above features are available to you if you are a Ruuvi Gateway owner or have received a shared sensor to your free Ruuvi Cloud account.
To use the app, get Ruuvi sensors from our official website: ruuvi.com

This app helps me monitor the humidity of my guitar cases easily. The app comes with a widget that I can use to check those humidifies from my home screen, which is really nice.

Seems fine for the most part. Why do you need a gateway to use the widgets??? Or at least, when trying to set a widget, no sensors are found on the list (despite them working fine on the app) and it says you can use a widget if your sensors are in range of a gateway... || Edit after dev reply: The app appears to let you log data in the background (Background Scanning Settings). If nothing else, I don't see why the widget couldn't just read that very same log to display the latest recorded value.

RVI temperature sensors work phenomenally!
★★★★★Ryan Duff· Jan 16, 2024
Works fine for measuring temps in my van, and connects (via BT) to my electrical system fine. It'd be cool to see an estimated Dew Point Temperature calculated in the app along with the other data, that way I could estimate if I think I'll get condensation inside my van or not. It's possible with the data already presented, and could be rounded to the nearest whole integer (based on rounded whole integer temp) for the sake of multiple calculations as temp fluctuates by.x° E: Found it in settings!!

RVI application requires location and internet access consent. It does not work without it. The app does not explain why it needs the access and what data RVI collects and why. There is no disclosure on RVI web, pre- or post-sale. I am RETURNING the devices for REFUND. Responding to RVI comment - it contains no commitment or privacy disclosure. RVI should address user privacy and device functionality publically before sale. Without it - the application consent is what matters.

In the old version, it would open with a full view. Now it opens only a tiny screen on the sensor data. Changing the settings to full view is possible, but these changed settings are not stored, so every time when you reopen, again you have this tiny view.

Waste of money. App "running" in background, 6 sensors, check interval 10 secs (+try 6 mins) & power saving off. Now away 1 hour = last comm. 12+ hours ago. Autosync does NOT sync old measurements automaticly. You Can sync Manually by clicking Sync on Every Sensor Individually. Manual sync takes 30 secs - 3 mins, 30 cm from sensor. Total wasted time/day standing next to sensors equals abt. 30 mins every day. My products froze, and I got No Alert even 7 meters away from sensor.
