Has always worked. Asks for as credit card details ONCE, and then the app remembers it. Never does any stupid thing as stopping and locking the wheels on bascule bridges as Små-Pudden. (It seems the company has decided to trust local municipal companies, and to trust the user to not drive into permanent bodies of water.) And the short-time lock function works without problems. It doesn't turn the status of the scooter into some impossible status the user can't handle. A flawless, good service.

(started working after re-installing) Original review: doesn't work in Sweden: my phone number is Belgian (travelling to Sweden), the app sends the SMS confirmation, but at the step of adding the payment method, it rejects both the GPay and my German bank card (master card). Sad.

The app is OK, but I feel it might be a bit confusing in terms of UX. The price is also higher with Ryde compared to Voi. With Voi I usually pay 10 kr for my trip home compared to 20 when using Ryde. This is because you pay for "unlocking" the bike, and it's very annoying. If this fee was removed I would maybe use a Ryde twice a day and I think Ryde would earn more on me that way because it's not always an even number I pay. The bikes are much better compared to Voi, and they are more comfortable.

The scooters are cool but overpriced, and they are very very very unsafe because they randomly go to 6 kmph while they drive 20 one second ago it gives me a heart attack I almost fell over so remove that also remove the speed limit of the scooter and one time I was too lazy to take a proper phote because that's just bs, and they threatened me with 30 kr fine like If this was removed 5 stars instantly but right now worthy of 2 stars

Illegal charges from 3 years ago + RUDE support. Ryde illegally charged my card for a false ride from 3 years ago. They even stored my payment data after I deleted it. When I complained, support sent a rude passive-aggressive message: "You'll find the answer from the earlier report :)" referring to a 3-year-old ticket. Back then, they waived the parking fee because my photos proved I parked correctly. Now they are illegally retroactively billing a time-barred debt. Total scam, avoid!
