OK once you learn how it works. This app does work well once you realize that you cannot use any other method (RFID, key card, fingerprint) while it's connected to the app. Also, when I close the app, it turns the Bluetooth off on my phone. Until I realized this, I was incredibly frustrated because the phone would not reconnect after closing the app. If you make sure your BT is on before you open the app, and press the shield button when you "add a device" it seems to connect without any trouble. The app does make it easy to manage Gunbox

WoW can't believe the responses here but im throwing my name in the hat also, i too have been in contact with thier customer service over the phone and online and i did everything they told me to do on how to get the app to connect to my phone and still nothing works, now as for the Gunbox 2.0 unit it works but for how long i really don't know so time will tell but i will say for one thing is that i will definitely not buy anything else from this company no way, i'll just go elsewhere

Doesn't work Tried it on two devices. Doesn't connect to one, though it shows in the Bluetooth settings. Drops out on the other. Try harder gun box.
