Only get it if you played the hell out of Saga Scarlett. Only if you're addicted to the battle system. The game feels like a Dark Souls with Magic The Gathering mechanics. It's hard just like Scarlett.

Combat is the most engaging and complex turn based combat I have seen. Each turn, you see the exact turn order and manipulate it with attacks that act faster or slower, linking party members into attack chains and disrupting enemy combos. Critically, because you see the name of enemy attacks and have no healing options, you will learn to plan when to defend, parry, or deflect powerful single and area attacks. The result is an addictive experience akin to creating line combos in Tetris.

Battle system is better and is made for ios/android. Underrated series. Romancing saga 1 minstrel song to this latest it's FF but in reverse. Brutal and less talking more fighting. 💪 and the game doesn't "end" with 1 play through. Drop 300 hundred hours, and you will die and see different things each time. Like hunting for the ultimate weapon after end, yet this game is getting endings in no order. Don't use a guide just play it your way 11/10. Saga is its own genre and deserves a big budget.

So lets start with the positives: If you want to play SaGa, same as on the consoles, this is pretty much it. It's plot-heavy fun, and runs perfectly fine on a two-year-old, mid-tier. But the caveats. This has been made touch-only, meaning accessories like the Kishi/Backbone are useless; An odd choice for a console-priced game, making it hard to play on Android consoles. Secondly, if you switch out to other apps and then come back, the sound can entirely turn off until you restart the game.
