SaggarPack Clear

SaggarPack is an offline-first kiln shelf packing board for studio potters, ceramic co-op members, and anyone firing a small kiln who needs to lock which named pot sits on which shelf before the door closes.

Open the app and land on the fullscreen packing surface for your active firing. Horizontal shelf rows—Top, Upper-Mid, Lower-Mid, Bottom, or your own custom labels—hold pot chips that show each pot’s name plus optional clay and glaze tags. Tap a shelf to add a pot, move chips between shelves to reassign, and freeze the layout as the load sheet for this firing. SaggarPack is not a cone chart, pyrometer log, or glaze recipe book—it is one clear load map per firing so nothing is double-stacked or left off the cart.

Quick-add a pot with a required name and optional clay body, glaze or note, footprint size (S/M/L), and target shelf. Tap to reassign; long-press to move a chip or mark it hold/out-of-load. Set up shelves per kiln profile with shelf count, custom labels, and soft capacity hints by chip size so dense loads stay readable.

Each firing session carries a title, date, kiln nickname, and typed atmosphere note, plus a locked pack snapshot for that load. After the fire, switch to unload checklist mode and check off each pot as it comes off the shelf without erasing the original pack. Reopen any past firing read-only from the archive, or duplicate it as the starting pack for a new load. Recent pot names and clay/glaze tags are suggested when you add repeat studio pieces.

First launch includes a seed demo firing with sample shelves and named pots so you see a real pack, not an empty shell. Need a packing slip? Copy a shelf-by-shelf pot list as local plain text for studio notes or the share sheet.
