I used the track my sailing in a variety on places in a way to replace my paper logbook. Each one if them had flaws. Then sail ties came along. Like the strata for sailing, this digital logbook is great making sharing my sailing easy.

I wish I had discovered this app earlier on in the season! I love the way it imports my GPX files from Avionics Boating, though I wish it could handle multiple files without combining them into one voyage. I have many! I also really like the way the weather is imported automatically to each voyage, though the wind strength is not always accurate compared to reality. I'm glad to be able to connect with my crew community that rotates through during twice a week races so that we can share info.

My favorite sailing app for logging tracks and keeping a journal to document the days. Beautiful interface with many features. The live tracking (not for navigation) is reliable. Awesome ability to edit tracks when points aren't exactly correct, or if you forget to start tracking from the start. Other popular apps don't have that ability. Easy to import gpx tracks recorded from other sources. There's a fun social aspect to it with: Clubs, and Live Broadcast. Again, superior to other's "share".

I wanted to upload previous trips and then start recording future trips, however the manual entry form is not user-friendly. It requires an image to be added to upload the form. Some of my trips were before digital phones, and I didn't take photos. And to add a date requires scrolling back from today's date rather than being able to type your own date. That meant a lot of scrolling to backdate to 1995!! At the end of it all, my entry didn't save! So, nice idea but some glitches to sort.

Just signed up and Logging in. Cannot import my stuff from IYT. Devices and partners tab is missing in the setting. I was following the instructions from IYT.

No way to get your data. If you use the app to record a sail, there is no way to export your GPS log for your own analysis/use. The only way to export anything from the app is the sailing CV in PDF form (which does not have GPS logs). It is evil. The app is OK when getting GPS data in (recorded by other apps) but does not support extracting when itself recrods the GPS log. Own your data folks. You will be locked out when they decide exporting sailing cv is a premium feature $$$
