Salah Compass: Prayer & Qibla

Salah Compass gives you today's prayer times, the direction of the Qibla and a collection of duas, and it works all of it out on your phone. It makes no network requests at all. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics, and your location never leaves your device.

PRAYER TIMES AT A GLANCE
Open the app and the next prayer is the first thing you see, with a live countdown. Below it are today's five prayers, sunrise, sunset and the Hijri date.
• Times for your current location, a city from the built-in list, or coordinates you enter
• 11 calculation methods: Karachi, Muslim World League, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Diyanet and Tehran
• Standard or Hanafi Asr
• Move any prayer by up to 30 minutes to match your local masjid's timetable

A QIBLA COMPASS FOR ANYWHERE
A live compass points to the Kaaba from wherever you are and tells you when you are facing it. It corrects for true north, shows the bearing and the distance in kilometers, and warns you when the phone's compass needs calibrating. It works with the phone flat in your palm or held upright.

ADHAN ALERTS, THE WAY YOU WANT THEM
• Adhan alarm: the full adhan on the alarm volume, even when the phone is on silent
• Adhan notification: the adhan with an ordinary notification
• Simple notification: a standard sound, without the adhan
Switch alerts on or off for each prayer, and add a reminder 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before. Alerts are scheduled a week ahead and refresh each time you open the app.

DUAS FOR EVERY PART OF THE DAY
40 supplications from the Quran and Sunnah, each with clear Arabic text, a transliteration, an English translation and its source. Browse by category, from morning and evening to travel, search across all of them, save your favorites, and copy or share any dua. The Arabic text size is adjustable.

WORKS WITH NO INTERNET
Prayer times and the Qibla are calculated from the sun's position and your location, on the device. The duas, the list of cities and the adhan recording are part of the app. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded, so it keeps working in airplane mode, abroad without data, and anywhere with no signal.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account or sign-in
• No advertising and no analytics
• No tracking of any kind
• Your location is used on your phone and stays there

MADE TO BE READ IN A SECOND
A calm black and white design with large numbers, light and dark themes that follow your phone, and labels for screen readers throughout.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Prayer times depend on the calculation method your community follows, so choose the one your local masjid uses and adjust by a few minutes if its timetable differs. The Hijri date is calculated and can differ by a day from a local moon sighting. You can correct it in Settings.
