SalahScreen: Prayer Focus

SalahScreen helps you plan your daily prayers, pause distracting apps during prayer windows, and keep a record of your prayer journey.

PRAYER TIMES AND REMINDERS
View Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times for your selected city. Browse the prayer calendar, choose your calculation settings and enable prayer reminders. You can select a city manually or use optional device location.

APP BLOCKING
Choose individual apps and the prayers during which you want them paused. Enable Block During Prayer and grant the requested Android permissions. When a selected app is opened during an active prayer window, SalahScreen shows its blocking screen. Confirm your prayer in SalahScreen to resume, or use temporary urgent access when needed. You can turn monitoring off in App Lock settings.

QURAN AND QIBLA
Browse all 114 surahs, read Arabic text with translation, and return to your saved reading position. View the daily ayah and open its passage. The Qibla finder shows the direction to Makkah using your selected location and available device sensors.

YOUR PRAYER JOURNEY
Record completed prayers, view your streak and progress, and mark excused days. Write reflections with a mood and note. Premium adds multiple-app selection, additional journal entries, prayer history, a calendar heatmap and detailed analytics.

ANDROID PERMISSIONS
Version 1.2.2 uses the Android AccessibilityService API for app-change detection and prayer-time app blocking. Its service is configured for window-state changes without retrieving window contents. Version 1.3 does not use AccessibilityService.

In version 1.3, app blocking uses Usage Access to detect the foreground app and Display over other apps to present the blocking screen. While monitoring is enabled, a foreground service runs with an ongoing notification. Notification and alarm access support prayer reminders. Location access is optional. Android and manufacturer power settings can affect background operation.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Some features require a Premium subscription. Available plans, eligibility and renewal prices are shown before purchase. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Restore purchases in the app, or open Manage subscription at the bottom of Settings to manage or cancel through Google Play.

PRIVACY
No SalahScreen account is required. Prayer records and journal entries are stored on your device. Location, prayer-time and billing services process data as described in our Privacy Policy.
