I have separate app for Smart TV to control via WiFi.It works with any phone.

Recent changes:
If the application stopped working after upgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat uninstall it and re-install it again.
The Samsung IR - Universal Pro paid version it supports full the new upgrade version 4.4.4 .
